Exhale Exhibit at The Log Cabin Gallery (11 am - 5 pm)  

Stop in for the final weekend of the Exhale Exhibit at The Log Cabin Gallery. 

7PAA - Intro to Painting and or Oil Pastels with Elinore Korow (Tues, 1-4pm)  starts August 3, 2010. Learn to combine mediums and techniques, including oil paints, pastel, oil pastel and watercolor. The combinations are radiant! details
11PAA - Digital Camera Basics with Kurt Shaffer (10am - 12pm)  Learn the basics of taking great pictures with that digital camera you have just lying around (but not sure how to use effectively). Call to select a date details

Park Place Pop-in (noon - 4pm)  Pop into Park Place on Saturday for an afternoon with a NPS Ranger. With crafts, stories, games and conversation. Something for all ages to enjoy.

13PAA - Terrariums for Homeschool with Heather Quinones (Mon, 9am-12noon)  As Fall begins to set in and we prepare for winter now is the time to plan on bringing in some green to brighten those snowy days. Terrariums can be elaborately constructed or be as simple as an old see-thru plastic container. details

PAA - Flower Pounding with Terri P. Vechery (Sat, 9-1pm)  This workshop will teach you flower power! Take home art that is ready to frame. Learn how to extract a watercolor-like picture from pounding flowers, grasses and leaves onto specially prepared muslin with a hammer. details
